I’m just an ordinary woman, wife and mother with an extraordinary passion for God, Family, Faith and things that REALLY matter: things of eternal importance.
I grew up in Murray, Utah, married a wonderful man who joined the Air Force, and we have spent the last 20+ years raising our 3 children and having some great adventures around the world. We have been blessed to live and visit multiple countries and while we love experiencing new things, being together as a family no matter where it is, is our favorite place to be.
As may already be obvious, I don’t consider myself a great writer, or even a good writer, but I do have faith that I feel compelled to share with others, which will hopefully make up for my lack of talent.
WHY Another Blog?
There are a ton of things out there to read, too much really, so why do I feel it is worth putting one more blog on the web? Several years ago (about 8!) I was sitting in a Sacrament meeting in my sister’s ward. My brother-in-law, Phil, was speaking and mentioned a book that another brother-in-law wrote to his family. It is a book about things he wanted to make sure his children knew. I had a very distinct impression that I needed to do the same for my family. I started a blog a few years ago, and it was inadvertently deleted:(. While I didn’t have a ton on it, it was very discouraging and I didn’t really want to take the time to make a new one. Well, last month I had another impression, and that was a topic to write about for my blog–which didn’t exist. I rationalized away the thought because I don’t have time for this right now, then caught myself, and decided if I received an impression to do this, I better just make the time for it.
